Job Summary
We’re looking for an IT Operations Administrator to help keep things running smoothly at Point. You’ll be the go-to person for all things tech at our Manila office, while also supporting teammates across the globe. From resolving day-to-day issues to jumping in on IT projects, your work will make a big difference in keeping our teams productive and connected. You’ll collaborate with local vendors and work closely with U.S.-based teammates, with a potential flexible schedule that overlaps with both Manila and Pacific Time.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding with new employees and contractors
- Set up and maintain laptops for Point employees in Manila
- Manage hardware inventory for the Manila office
- Ordering new equipment as needed and requested for the Manila office
- Manage IT vendor relationships with local vendors
- Configure new employee SaaS accounts as directed
- Answer IT tickets within required SLAs
- Help with other Point IT and IT security projects as directed
About you
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2–5 years of IT support experience, ideally in small to mid-sized organizations.
- Strong experience with Apple hardware and software.
- Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Google Workspace.
- Solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including systems, SaaS tools, and role-based access management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to explain technical issues clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Quick to learn and navigate complex systems and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on accurate and efficient problem-solving.
- Familiar with security risks, best practices, and procedures relevant to a U.S.-based financial technology company.
