Overview:
We are looking for a visionary and experienced Senior Cloud Development Manager to lead our Cloud Apps, UX Engineering, and Salesforce Development teams within the GTM organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of scalable applications, APIs, and front-end experiences that power our go-to-market operations—including key integrations with platforms like Salesforce and CPQ.
You will lead a high-performing team of engineers and Salesforce developers, all based in India and Prague, and play a critical role in shaping the next generation of enterprise tools and experiences.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for cloud applications, API platforms, front-end development, and Salesforce customizations.
Define and drive the technical roadmap for Cloud Apps, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
Oversee development of front-end applications supporting CPQ and other GTM systems, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and scalability.
Manage the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce components, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
Collaborate closely with Product, Business Systems, and cross-functional engineering teams to align on priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
Ensure high-quality code delivery through robust engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps integration.
Champion technical excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.
Drive hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and career development for engineers and Salesforce developers.Stay informed about emerging cloud and CRM technologies and bring best practices into the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native application development and APIs (REST, GraphQL).
Proven track record leading front-end engineering efforts using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices.
Experience managing and developing on the Salesforce platform—including Apex, Lightning Components, and data models.
Demonstrated ability to integrate cloud apps with CRM platforms and enterprise systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience leading remote or distributed teams and working across global time zones.
Preferred Skills:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist, or Architect certifications).
Familiarity with CPQ tools and workflows.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of data integration and ETL platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).
Exposure to GTM systems and processes such as lead-to-cash, billing, or revenue recognition.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
