SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
In this role, you'll:

• Passionately evangelise the advantages of the Pure Storage portfolio
• Build and refine sales pursuits, leading the technical approach
• Delight customers and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise across a variety of such as storage/compute technologies, structured and unstructured data, virtualisation, security, data protection and Cloud, any others are a bonus!
• Lead and drive any proof-of-value/concept activities
• Build and deliver presentations and workshops clearly articulating Pure’s key differentiators to customers and lock in the technical win with clients and prospective accounts
• Capture requirements using open questioning and translate a Customer’s business needs into innovative solutions to accelerate their growth and success
• Build brand preference and influence across the targeted account base
• Influence and respond to RFI/RFP tenders, co-authoring and assisting our Partners
• Build and learn to effectively use the team of supporting specialists across the region to build credibility in opportunities, while maintaining technical leadership
• Build internal and external credibility as a key member of the Federal Sales team
• Understand the macro technology trends and map them back to Government buying cycles and needs
• Be your best every day!

Expected experience:
• Technical Pre-sales because it’s what you do
• A minimum 5 years’ experience supporting the sales of data, networking or systems solutions to enterprise & federal agencies
• Deep understanding of the architecture, design and implementation of multi-tiered solutions, toolsets, methodologies and operational impact of transformational change
• Proven experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients
• Lead the technical responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
• Deep knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures
• Comfortable with multiple operating systems and virtualisation stacks
• Understanding of modern software development and DevSecOps practices
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation from private cloud to cloud native architectures, provisioning automation and containers
• A good understanding of VMWare, Hyper-V, RedHat OpenShift and general networking
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
• A cohesive and inclusive team spirit that fosters camaraderie
• BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
• Application and database knowledge is a desirable bonus as is NV1 or greater security clearance
