THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager, Firmware Release to lead our firmware development and release efforts from conception to launch. In this role, you'll be the central driver for our firmware projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and validation teams. You will have a direct impact on the delivery of our Direct Flash Module (DFM) products by managing schedules, mitigating risks, and streamlining processes to accelerate our time to market and maintain our high standards of quality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead, coordinate, and drive firmware feature milestones for our Direct Flash Module (DFM) products by developing objectives, schedules, processes, and communication plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end firmware release lifecycle, ensuring smooth integration with system software and alignment with hardware and validation requirements.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate technical risks and dependencies by partnering with cross-functional teams, communicating requirements, and driving checkpoint decisions.
  • Enhance and evolve the team's agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team synchronization, to improve predictability, velocity, and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to provide real-time visibility into program health, progress, and risks for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex software and firmware release cycles with a predictable and frequent cadence.
  • The ability to influence and drive outcomes across a growing organization, coupled with strong technical and project judgment.
  • Experience in owning the product experience, quality, and key metrics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of end-to-end development best practices.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. 

There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.

The annual base salary range is:
$165,000$248,000 USD
