Supply Chain Specialist

Hybrid (3 days in office per week) in Allen, TX only

As a Supply Chain Analyst I, you will take ownership of hardware procurement and assist in the development of strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hardware sourcing. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Compensation Range: $45,000 - $60,000, depending on location.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle component purchasing, working with vendors and carriers to secure best pricing.
  • Execute on processes around  reverse logistics,  ensuring all product returns and replacements are shipped and received efficiently.
  • Provide help desk support for internal teams engaging with Supply Chain, ensuring timely response and resolution to inquiries and reported issues.
  • Manage processes for continuously auditing hardware component stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Success Team to transform feedback from customers and internal or external teams into continual product improvement.
  • Assist with monitoring, measurements and reporting of departmental health and effectiveness (KPIs).
  • Analyze data to determine areas for performance improvement, providing Resi’s executive team with analyses to assist in business decisions and measure the effectiveness of prior process changes / initiatives.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager with developing & implementing initiatives to minimize hardware waste through strategic offerings to 3rd party purchasers for wholesale components no longer needed by the organizations.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager in utilizing proven methodologies to assess process disconnects and develop performance gap solutions, continuously improving with individuals at varying levels within and outside the organization.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Logistic, Business or related field
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools including inventory management and ability to develop actionable insights from data, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for example SAP, NetSuite, etc preferred
  • Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
  • Strong communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging, and escalations management
  • Ability to work in dynamic and constantly evolving environments
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to serve others as your customers
  • Strong aptitude for learning negotiation and cost-savings measures in a fast paced environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role that primarily involves sitting or standing.
