We're looking for a Client Account Manager to join the Retail vertical of our Large Customer Sales team. This person will closely collaborate with the Client Partner and Senior Client Account Manager on their book, responsible for executing and optimizing campaigns to help agencies and advertisers achieve their marketing objectives on the fast-growing Reddit platform.

The goal for this role is to support the team in executing high-quality, performance-driven advertising campaigns. The Client Account Manager is responsible for building and updating media plans, developing and refining targeting strategies, assisting with campaign setup and delivery, and providing actionable optimization recommendations. They ensure campaigns are set up for success, on pace, and aligned with client goals.

Please note that this role is required to be based out of New York City or Chicago.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Client Partners and Senior Account Managers to meet and exceed your clients’ marketing goals
  • Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing advertising partners, both with agencies and directly with clients to drive year-over-year Reddit revenue growth
  • Lead and execute campaign launches from start to finish, delivering insightful optimization recommendations to agency and client partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal account operations, including managing revenue delivery, troubleshooting issues, and escalating when necessary
  • Educate brands and media agencies, effectively communicating Reddit’s value proposition and best practices for advertising on the platform
  • Consult clients on their awareness and direct response objectives, partnering closely with Client Partners and Senior Client Account Managers to craft thoughtful and creative media plans
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops to ensure effective campaign delivery and resolve any technical hurdles
  • Dive deep into campaign performance data, audience and competitor insights, seasonality, and market and performance trends to develop KPI-driven campaign recommendations
  • Proactively seek and represent client needs and asks to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Shape Reddit’s native ads product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital media planning, campaign management, or performance marketing, ideally within an agency or in-house media team
  • Hands-on experience with media planning tools, keyword strategy, and audience targeting (especially Reddit or similar platforms with community-based targeting).
  • Prior experience in campaign builds, trafficking, and optimizations using performance data
  • Familiarity with working cross-functionally across internal teams (e.g., Ad Strategy, Creative, Analytics)
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns and adapting plans based on real-time data
  • Excel skills – must be comfortable building and updating complex media plans, segmenting keyword lists, and budget forecasting
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms, DSPs, and campaign management tools
  • Understanding of auction dynamics, bid strategies, and delivery pacing
  • Strong understanding of customer marketing funnel and traditional marketing ecosystem
  • Comfortable with problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Understanding of digital measurement, tracking fundamentals and mobile measurement partners
  • Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges
  • Experience cultivating strong relationships with external partners
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and unstructured work environment
  • High attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Big Box, Apparel, Marketplace clients
  • Prior exposure to Reddit’s unique ad platform or community-based advertising
  • Familiarity with internal tools like CTO trackers, pacing docs, and measurement intake forms

This job posting may span more than one career level.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and will also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$84,600$118,500 USD
