As an Associate Producer, you’ll lead passionate cross-functional teams in crafting creative content and incredible experiences for players around the world. By encouraging teams to collaborate, you’ll drive development, smashing through obstacles and driving projects into players’ hands. You’ll exceed expectations by helping concept, deliver, improve, and influence creative projects at every stage of production.

As an Associate Producer on an Unpublished R&D Product, you will report to the Senior Product Lead of the Mobile Project and work with our developers to lead production efforts in bringing the mobile game to market. You will work with developers and internal partners at Riot. You will ensure that the team is set up for success at every stage of project development from: prototype and pre-production to launch and beyond as a key member of the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build release pipeline for all platform specific updates
  • Create and maintain a clean, up-to-date work backlog
  • Facilitates team meetings and discussions
  • Support team by removing roadblocks and managing distractions
  • Velocity tracking on sprint and release basis
  • Sprint / milestone commitment tracking
  • Dependency / risk tracking
  • Quality tracking (bug count, bug velocity, subjective quality post ship)
  • Roll progress back into master Project tracking methods
  • Keeping partners consulted and informed on progress and bought in to discussions as needed for project success
  • Align team on how outputs ladder up to strategy and product vision as prioritized by project leadership
  • Create team product roadmap that demonstrates the value being delivered (to players or other customers) with Senior Product Lead
  • Create and organize team backlog with Senior Product Lead
  • Lead product discovery incorporating cross discipline perspectives (such as design, art, and engineering)
  • Get partner support on the “why” behind the team’s work
  • Provide critical product feedback and insight to the team and leadership
  • Champion a player-focused mindset and be the voice of the player
  • Actively review and engage with players through popular channels (forums and events). Understand the pulse of our players.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Mobile Game Producer or enterprise (1m+ MAU) Mobile app producer with experience leading live game/app development and operations 
  • Experience having shipped multiple mobile games or large-scale enterprise apps with production responsibility on key features or content
  • Experience creating scenarios for submission and release
  • Experience with First Party submission timelines and processes
  • Experience scheduling and tracking development. Find and address risks associated with key-milestones both for our teams and external teams. 
  • Experience using production tools like JIRA and Favro to track development and produce reporting
  • Experience leading teams through feature development (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support)

Desired Qualifications:

  • +4 years of experience as a Mobile Game Producer with experience coordinating live game/app development and operations
  • Mastery of production tools like JIRA and Favro to track development and create reporting
