VALORANT is Riot’s take on a character-based tactical shooter. As a Brand Manager(Contractor) you will join the China Publishing Valorant marketing team focus on VALORNAT Mobile to help shepherd a brand from concept to realization. You will be focusing on VALORANT Mobile from scratch in a highly competitive landscape using your deep knowledge of the market, your expertise in crafting marketing strategies, and your eye for great creativity to keep us top of mind with audiences around the world. You will be working across many different marketing disciplines to develop best-in-class campaigns.
Responsibilities
- You will lead campaign programs that focus our team’s calories on the things that matter most, ensuring we establish long-lasting, meaningful relationships with players in CN
- You will work with global and develop creative briefs (lots of them) to support our internal partners and service teams, while ensuring that our tactics continue to drive our brand and product forward
- You will connect data with product content to make player-facing experiences that move our brand forward
- You will partner with cross-discipline marketing teams and service partners to execute mobile campaign tactics
- You will be the ultimate brand shepherd between central marketing and global publishing partners.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of marketing experience in campaign planning and development
- Experience working with data to inform creative briefs and program execution
- Experience working across multiple campaign programs simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with internal creative team and outside agencies/ vendors to executive campaign tactics
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on cultural brands that focus on niche audiences
- Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams
- (Mobile) FPS enthusiast with deep knowledge of tactical shooter genre and its community
- Strong organizational management skills
- Experience facilitating and working with creative professionals
- A big plus for experience working on mobile game publishing
