About the role:
As a Core Data Center Program Manager, you’ll play a critical role in helping with all aspects of operating our Core Data Centers across the US, including building and maintaining our Data Center and physical infrastructure at a time of incredible growth for our business. At Roblox, you’ll have boundless opportunities to shape the future of the Imagination Platform™ and demonstrate your passion for delivering awesome solutions in front of a global audience. The Data Center team is operating Data Centers and the server/networking infrastructure that can sustain millions of concurrent players year-round, and are looking for highly-skilled Data Center experts to join our ever-expanding engineering team.
We are looking for a well-rounded Program Manager who can organize and track multiple concurrent buildouts and projects, identify areas of concern, and introduce improvements based on the team's input.
You will:
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Perform management of day-to-day project duties such as creating/modifying project plans, managing risk, and tracking action items
- Implement creative solutions prior to and during the construction, deployment, moves, and decommissioning process to reduce costs without negative impacts on quality or reliability.
- Travel for site assessments and interfacing with partners. Anticipated travel not to exceed 25%.
- Report to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure Foundation - Capacity.

- A subject matter expert on Data Center build and maintenance processes, from pouring the concrete for a new building to decommissioning servers.
- An excellent communicator across all mediums.
- A multitool team player, with a proven ability to solve project-related problems and excited about delivering world-class infrastructure.
- Exceptionally organized.
- Flexible and able to context switch on demand, respond quickly and efficiently when managing multiple high-priority projects.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
