Roblox is in search of a Finance Systems Lead to administer and serve as the in-house expert for its financial modeling and planning system. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the FP&A team and engage with stakeholders in Engineering, People & Systems, Finance Data, Accounting, and Business Operations. We are seeking an individual passionate about constructing complex financial models within robust systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to efficiency, prioritize data integrity, and strive to provide systematic and scalable solutions to eliminate reliance on spreadsheets and manual workarounds.

This full time position is based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to the Director, FP&A.

You will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build complex financial models in EPM tool to address various business needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize existing models for performance improvements and data accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of models to ensure they align with changing business requirements.
  • Integrate models with other enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data flow and maintain data integrity, ensuring best practices for data governance and quality within the platform
  • Help build dashboards and key metrics reporting leveraging data and models within system to serve end-users

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with major Enterprise Performance Management solutions (e.g Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion)
  • Anaplan Certifications Level 3 and above strongly considered
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
  • Dedication to continuous learning and development of systems knowledge
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$183,980$232,270 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
