As a Technical Program Manager for Infrastructure Networking, you will build technical programs to rollout hardware and software technologies to connect Roblox services to users around the world efficiently, reliably, and securely.

You will:

  • Build advanced networking solutions for Roblox developer and user needs
  • Define problem space, collect user requirements and lead engineering teams to plan and ship large-scale systems
  • Balance efficiency, and priorities based on impact to the community and our long-term goals
  • Align senior leadership and important partners around program roadmap
  • Manage programs from beginning to end, focusing on what is best for long-term success
  • Unblock teams and allow them to stay true to top priorities
  • Help engineering teams to reliably manage all project phases
  • Use data-driven approach to inform teams' direction
  • Manage dependencies across teams and components

You have:

  • A technical leader with domain expertise in system and software engineering
  • 7+ years experiences in driving the build of large-scale systems
  • Experienced with establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experienced with identifying important technical problems and opportunities
  • Experienced with providing end to end technical programs through roadmapping and reliable execution
  • Turn specific solutions into systems that benefit larger community in the long run
  • Knowledgeable about user needs, scoping, planning, execution and delivery
  • Flexible around process, using process as a tool when it makes sense for a team

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$266,580$317,500 USD
