As a Senior Software Engineer on the Engine Performance team you will help ensure our game-engine and clients are reliable and and have best in class performance. Roblox has millions of daily active users across a wide range of devices. This role will involve working on internal systems and frameworks to benchmark client and engine performance. If you are excited by enabling cross cutting performance improvements you'll be right at home. You'll report to the Engineering Manager of Engine Performance.

You Will:

  • Develop tooling that enables Roblox to deliver a client that has best in class performance.
  • Work with mobile and web teams to deliver wide ranging improvements.
  • Help us scale our services. We are working on multiple projects and targeting 10x improvements.

You Have:

  • 4+ years experience with mobile app development, Android or iOS.
  • 4+ years experience with large-scale continuous integration systems.
  • 4+ years experience with web APIs.

You Are:

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$189,110$233,839 USD
