Channel Development Manager, Southeast
 
As a Channel Development Manager (CDM) you will build & manage relationships between Rubrik and key regional and national channel partners across the Southeast, excluding Florida. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams from Rubrik’s Field Sales, Systems Engineering, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances and Sales Operations functions, as they will be key resources for you to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals.

Day-to-Day

CDM’s will drive growth within partners in your region through strategic partner planning, enablement, and driving sales acceleration and pipeline generation activities.

Where you can make an impact:
  • Drive Rubrik's focus with key technologies and products to boost revenue and increase the number of Partner-Initiated Deals.
  • Manage and expand relationships with national and regional partners to enhance market coverage to drive growth.
  • Organize account mappings and coordinate meetings between Rubrik staff and partners to identify and qualify target accounts, leading to Partner-Initiated Deals.
  • Conduct enablement sessions to train partners' field sales and SE staff, ensuring they achieve self-sufficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key contacts within partner organizations to secure strategic partnerships and garner necessary attention.
  • Drive innovative marketing initiatives with partners to stimulate sales growth and enhance market presence.
Who you are:
  • Highly energetic, hardworking, self-driven, and motivated individual with a strong team oriented mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of Cyber Resiliency / Data Management / Data Protection / Storage market
  • Established strong relationships and a solid reputation with key partners in territory
  • Skilled in delivering presentations to both small and large audiences and adept at hosting events with partners and end-customers
  • Proficient in identifying and initiating deals with partners, collaborating closely with them and Rubrik Account Teams to drive and close opportunities.

Ideal background:
  • Proficient in implementing channel marketing plans and coordinating channel marketing activities.
  • Proven track record of motivating partners to enhance their sales performance.
  • Strong ability to execute channel programs effectively.
  • Experienced in leading sales and product training sessions large and small with partners.
  • Accomplished presenter at reseller and end-customer events.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing sales activities with partners.
  • Competent in supporting partners to identify opportunities and close projects.
  • Collaborative team player with a history of effective teamwork.
  • Proficient in reporting metrics, activities, and forecasting.
  • Experienced in selling competitive solutions with deep expertise in Cybersecurity, Cyber Resiliency, and Backup and Recovery.
  • Knowledgeable on CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, and Nutanix, with the ability to integrate their value propositions into joint solutions with Rubrik.
