Field Marketing Specialist, CEUR - Contractor Role 12 months. 

Germany based - Munich or Frankfurt. 

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Field Marketing Specialist (Contractor) to support our regional marketing efforts in Central Europe (CEUR). In this role, you will be an integral part of the Marketing team, assisting with the success of all marketing initiatives and events in the Central region. The ideal candidate is energetic, with an upbeat, can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail. This role requires initiative, strong project management skills, and a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.

The ideal candidate is a marketing generalist with a hands-on approach, excellent project management skills, and with strong execution skills, ensuring that events and marketing programs run smoothly and effectively.

You will report to the Head of Marketing Central Europe and be part of a small, dynamic, and fun team that works together closely. You’ll also work closely with Field Sales, Inside Sales and Channel Partners to support pipeline and revenue growth through marketing activities, across Germany, the Alps region and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on event execution and marketing initiatives, working closely with the Head of Marketing for Central Europe to drive engagement and ensure follow-up on marketing activities. The role is currently home office based with the option to join our team in-person in either Munich or Frankfurt. In detail

• Assist the Central Field Marketing Manager with planning, coordination and execution of events, including but not limited to, sourcing venues, negotiations, submitting contracts to legal, submit invoices and payment, catering, invite and landing page creation, registration reporting, event reminder emails, organize event materials and event readiness, limited onsite execution
• Ongoing project management of the execution of campaigns and programs including timelines, ROI/results, changes/improvements, managing vendors
• Work with the Marketing Operations team on data entry, list management, and reporting
• Manage the marketing calendar to ensure that all major events and campaigns are documented and communicated to internal teams
• Track closely against tight deadlines for all events
• Willingness to take on stretch projects for the field marketing team if bandwidth allows

About You

• A minimum of 2+ years’ marketing-related experience
• German native speaker, fluent in English
• Organized, detail-oriented and highly motivated, with project management experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Highly reliable and accountable to achieve deadlines, working with several different team members and juggling multiple projects at once
• Must be a self-starter, not afraid to ask questions
• Preferably located in Munich
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with event planning and execution
• Experience with Marketing Automation, CRM (Salesforce.com), GSuite, Splash
• Willingness to travel occasionally
