About The Role

The position of Platform Engineer/Cloud Engineer is part of the Platform team (RCF) in Infrastructure. RCF team is responsible for developing and managing an in-house platform used for on-demand lab provisioning for various internal and external customers in Rubrik. Person in this role will be responsible for developing new features for the platform as per team’s roadmap and provide ongoing operational support. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Code primarily in Python Advance & Django.
  • Providing operation support for the platform.
  • Manage and maintain backend DB (Postgres) for Platform.
  • Manage CICD and code deployment through Jenkins.
  • Manage deployment and capacity on Kubernetes/Docker.
  • Provide Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Operation support e.g., Account, IAM, Tenant and access management. 

 

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 year of experience in Software/Platform development engineering
  • Automations Jenkins, Terraform
  • Kubernetes/Docker
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Experience in Python, Django Framework.
  • Experience in coding in Shell and YAML.
  • VMware and vSphere Experience is plus.
  • Database (Postgres)
  • AWS IAM, Account Management
  • Azure Tenant, Subscription, IAM management.
  • GCP Project, Billing, IAM management
