What You'll Be Doing:
Design solutions for multiple modules within Sandbox VR's infrastructure that align with the company's objectives, incorporating a foundational understanding of business needs, including but not limited to Windows systems, networking, and hardwareCollaborate with hardware and software vendors to evaluate and implement suitable solutionsEnsure optimal system performance across retail locations, including potential on-call support to deliver timely workarounds for technical and retail teams, maintaining business continuity. Proactively investigate and document long-term solutionsLead comprehensive system test planning for Windows, hardware firmware, BIOS updates, and other system configurationsDefine and execute deployment plans for global locations, followed by thorough testingResearch and recommend new technologies to enhance various components within one or two areas of the technology stackDocument research findings in the system to benefit team members and facilitate future enhancementsDeliver training and technical guidance to team members to enhance their proficiency and effectivenessWhat We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience working within system/infrastructure engineeringMust have comprehensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in resolving issues across network infrastructure, workstations, Windows operating systems, and third-party applicationsStrong experience with root cause analysis, system performance optimization, and capacity planningExpertise in managing server infrastructure, server rooms, and communication networksProficient in scripting and automation using Ansible playbooks and PowerShell for configuration management and issue resolutionHighly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilitiesA collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skillsGood communication in both Cantonese & English, both written and verbalLess experienced candidate will be considered as Infrastructure EngineerWhat We're Offering
