As the Director, GXC Program in India, you will be responsible for leading an extended team of Account relationship managers, sales engineers, trainers (L&D) and marketers (Marketing) that accelerate the success of our largest global customers and partners. You will design and execute on innovative strategies that increase awareness, capability and consumption of the Snowflake Data Cloud Platform. 

This newly created position provides an opportunity to build a team that drives global impact, with significant visibility across the organisation. 

The core responsibilities for this position include: 

  • Develop and execute on an engagement strategy for our customers’ and partners' captive centres in India, in alignment with our strategic goals of building awareness, developing capability and growing consumption. 
  • Build cross-functional relationships with internal teams, including Global Account Managers, Partner Development Managers, Marketing, Professional Services, Sales Operations and L&D.
  • Lead a direct and indirect team comprising Relationship Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, Professional Services and Alliances.
  • Establish and maintain executive relationships with sponsors and influencers within key customers and partners. 
  • Collaborate on the creation of account plans, including developing and leading the GXC component.
  • Manage and participate in industry events to promote the company’s capabilities for GXC.
  • Analyse sales data and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to track against current goals and develop long-term plans.

An ideal candidate will have: 

  • 10+ years experience in leading a sales territory, ideally with global account exposure. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing both direct and in-direct teams, driving towards a common goal/outcome.
  • Strong understanding and experience in the data analytics, solution building and big data marketspace.
  • Experience building business cases and status updates aimed towards executive audiences. 
  • Ability to understand and communicate to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills and the ability to adapt your messaging to meet your audiences, internally and externally.
  • Prior experience working in a hyper-growth environment, including the ability to navigate and embrace change.
