The Product Security organization ensures that Snowflake products are built and shipped with the highest security. The anti-abuse team in the Product Security org will scan and assess apps running on the Snowflake platform. 

In this role, you will hire new talent, mentor and grow team members and define the team culture. You will work with cross-functional partners to define the multi-year strategy and lead the implementation of abuse prevention and detection solutions at Snowflake. You will oversee the design and implementation of new processes and scanning pipelines to ensure the safety of our customers on our platform. This is a unique opportunity to bootstrap and build a new initiative that is core to the success of Snowflake’s business as a whole.

AS ENGINEERING MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Hire top technical talent, manage and mentor team members
  • Partner with product, security and engineering teams to build a strategic roadmap for scalable anti-abuse at Snowflake
  • Work directly with cross-functional leaders to illustrate abuse risks, threats, exploits, to guide business decisions
  • Oversee the design and implementation of necessary tools and services
  • Lead and manage team’s priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

OUR IDEAL ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 2+ years experience managing an anti-abuse, security or software engineering team
  • In-depth knowledge of anti-abuse solutions, cloud, application security, network security, and/or infrastructure security
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security solutions and/or anti-abuse scanning pipelines.
  • Experience building large-scale pipelines and infrastructure for performing static analysis, code auditing, and malware detection on apps.
  • Knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
