Snowflake’s marketing team is always aiming to be 100% aligned with our sales team, building pipeline for sales to exceed their booking targets. In this exciting role you will be aligning with our Public Sector Sales team and you will be owning every aspect of the marketing in the UK Public Sector GTM plan; building awareness and demand through delivering events, webinars, 3rd party activities, thought leadership, ABM and working closely with our Partners; building scalable programs to market-to and through these partners. 

 
To be successful in this role you must collaborate with a variety of individuals and teams as well as manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a highly-organised self-starter with a natural curiosity to learn and to explore.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Build and execute a marketing plan in alignment with the GTM plan for the Public Sector, in alignment with Sales targets and Industry Principals’ direction.
  • Continuously align with the sales and SDR team on new and existing marketing activities being performed
  • Support Snowflake’s Public Sector demand generation and sales goals through industry events and activities
  • Work closely with the Partner Account Manager for relevant partners supporting the Public Sector marketing plan, building and executing marketing plans for marketing-to and marketing through these partners
  • Build scalable marketing-in-a-box campaigns for partners to utilise, to help enhance our marketing reach into Public Sector
  • Maintain direct alignment with sales team in terms of all pre and post event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy
  • Evaluate all Public Sector campaigns’ impact and pipeline generation to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment
  • Develop growth strategies with the sales team in order to optimise engagement within high-value accounts
  • Identify the most effective marketing materials, channels, and messaging for key sub verticals and accounts
  • Collaborate with EMEA marketing, demand generation, industry, ABM, CEC, strategic events, PR, Partner Marketing and other marketing teams to achieve strategic objectives
  • Report on pipeline generated and available for future quarters sales bookings

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute a marketing plan and the campaigns therewithin, within budget
  • Manage project timelines, quality issues, resources, & budget
  • Set goals and define metrics for each campaign including targeted lead flow and pipeline targets
  • Track and report on pipeline creation and pipeline movement
  • Owning the marketing-to and marketing-through programs targeting key Public Sector partners
  • Be the key contact person in Marketing for the Public Sector sales team. 
  • Represent Snowflake to counterparts at partners, vendors, and outside vendors 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of proven multi-channel B2B marketing experience within enterprise software/SaaS
  • Experience working with the UK Public Sector
  • Experience in Salesforce, Marketo, Excel, Tableau, Wordpress
  • Track record in developing partner-facing programs and communications, with preference for GSI, RSI, ISV, MSP, Cloud or Tech
  • Proven success in managing partner and field marketing programs in large enterprise and hyper growth organisations in high tech space
  • Ability to adapt to and perform effectively in a fast-pace environment 
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational & executional power and ability to anticipate the needs of sales 
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset 
  • Exceptional communicator and team player, excellent at stakeholders management 
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain an optimistic, approachable, and self-starter attitude
  • Demonstrates creative spark as expressed in ideas for messaging, creative design, etc.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support in-person events
