We’re looking for dedicated University Graduates who share our passion for ground-breaking technology and want to create a lasting future for you and Snowflake. ​​As a Graduate Cloud Support Engineer, your role is to delight our customers with your passion and knowledge of the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.  To our customers, you will be the face of Snowflake whereas to our internal teams, you will be the voice of the customer. However, at Snowflake we also understand for many of you this may be your first professional role and as such we will give you all the support you need to succeed including a dedicated manager and mentor throughout your program, graduate-specific training such as managing workload and work-life balance.

WHAT WE EXPECT :

  • Desired Class Level: 2.1 (or above) in Computer Science Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field.
  • Bonus Experience
    • Understand basic query profiles and execution plans
    • Knowledge of SQL data types and functions
    • Experienced in the big three cloud providers (AWS, Azure and GCP). 
  • Have strong Customer Advocacy skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / GAIN :

Strong skillset in technical support to Snowflake customers and partners in the form of email, web, and phoneThe ability to investigate technical issues utilizing Snowflake environment, connectors, 3rd party partner software, and other toolsCapturing customer-submitted requests, well-documented bugs, and feature requests and submitting to the engineering teamExperience in working in a 24x7 follow-the-sun environmentExperience in handling all tiers of support issues and familiarity with ITSM productsHow to document known solutions for various audiencesGood understanding of the cloud ecosystems
