The Sales Enablement Team is seeking a creative and agile Instructional Designer to play an instrumental role in the design, development, and deployment of training for our Sales and Sales Engineering Teams. In this role you will partner closely with Sales Enablement team members and cross-functional partners to design and develop training assets (including videos, slides, and documentation) that are engaging and effective. Once created, you will co-manage and maintain content in our Learning Management System (LMS). You will also support the assessment of each of our training initiatives, including constructing dashboards to communicate learning outcomes and to evaluate learner feedback. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO: 

  • Build eLearning or job aids end to end - from SME discovery, learning design, to course writing,and conversion to course work via RISE. 
  • Practice learning experience design to build engaging and effective learning journeys.
  • Identify best training modality and use appropriate course design and development tools to create effective online, live classroom, or blended training.

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 5+ years of technical instructional design experience within the data management space, pre-sales experience preferred 
  • Understanding of adult learning concepts and instructional design principles
  • Knowledge in data management, data warehousing, data science, analytics and cloud technology. Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics is a plus
  • Experience with related tools including; Learning Management System, Confluence (wiki), and Google Apps
  • Successfully created visually dynamic learning content across media including graphic and video  
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and apply your innovative approaches to design and development while working in a constantly evolving organization 
  • Must be based out of the San Mateo or Dublin (Bay Area) with an expectation to be in office 3 days a week. Exceptions can be made for exceptional candidates but must still be in a US Snowflake office (Bellevue, Denver, Chicago, Boston, or Atlanta)
