Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake team.

There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake’s founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn’t stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.

The platform center team builds a trust and risk management platform to empower Snowflake customers to monitor, identify, achieve, and maintain strong security, governance, privacy and compliance posture and allow for effective and simple risk management within Snowflake. This is a strategic investment to customer’s adoption of Snowflake as their data platform of choice. This platform shall also support a robust developer ecosystem which spans across Snowflake, end customers and external 3rd party developers to enable trust centric data applications via Snowflake’s Marketplace.

To deliver on our mission we are building solutions leveraging industry accredited benchmarks (e.g., CIS Center for Internet Security) and best practices. We complement this by quantifying both Snowflake customer accounts and the platform’s trust posture with insights that help prevent, detect, and respond to threats and abuse vectors (behavioral analytics, PII attribution etc) and transparency via compliance certificates, vulnerability patching status, reporting and access transparency to customer data and accounts. We are just getting started and there’s plenty to build and innovate in this space!
