The Professional Services Operations Manager will be a unique position on the PS Operations team and will have rotating responsibilities over the first 12 months across 3 key areas of PS Operations: 1) Regional operations support, 2) partner operations, and 3) PS systems.  You will be mentored as you learn and gain experience in each of the key areas.   The duration in any one area will vary depending on the business need and may include overlap.  The role will eventually focus on 1-2 of the key areas after the initial rotation period.  This role will report into the Manager, Americas PS Operations.

AS A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OPERATIONS MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL :

Regional Operations Support

  • Be responsible for supporting a region(s) in the Americas
  • Management project financials in the PSA system throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Oversee time and expense entry and approvals
  • Lead forecast calls and the bottoms up revenue forecasting process
  • Work closely with the Revenue team to support revenue recognition and month-end processes for PS.
  • Drive deal review process and provide timely review of SOWs and quotes.  
  • Draft Change Orders and manage the Change Order process
  • Communication and enablement for regional PS mgrs on processes
  • Provide insight, analysis, and decision support for regional PS leadership

PS Partner Operations (Global)

  • Manage the Partner SOW and procurement process 
  • Onboarding and offboarding of partner resources for projects, working cross functionally with HR and IT
  • Review and approve partner invoices
  • Maintain forecasts for partner spend
  • Act as point of contact for PS Partners for operational best practices and issues
  • Work closely with PS Partner Program lead

PS Systems (Global)

  • Work with PS Ops, IT (BSAs and Developers) on managing the roadmap and open requests
  • Driving requirements process and reviewing solutions
  • UAT lead and coordination
  • Rollout planning, including enablement and documentation. 
  • For all processes above, continuously identify and recommend areas for improvement.  Assist with planning and implementation of process and system improvements.  

OUR IDEAL PS OPERATIONS ANALYST WILL INCLUDE :

  • 5+ years of professional services operations or related experience, ideally supporting a PS organization embedded in a enterprise software company
  • Experience working with a PSA system. FinancialForce experience is a plus.
  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward and obtain results
  • Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups
