The Security Solutions, Platform, and Analytics (SPA) team at Snowflake is trailblazers, crafting custom solutions to fortify our Data Cloud. 

The team is responsible for providing engineering and infrastructure services, building solutions, as well as communities of practice and cyber coordination efforts that empower the Snowflake security community to bring the most secure Data Cloud to our customers and safeguard our organization's systems and data.

We're on the hunt for an accomplished DevSecOps Engineer proficient in Terraform, AWS (Public Cloud), Docker, Kubernetes, Python, SQL, and CI/CD to elevate our security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Expertise: Create and manage infrastructure with Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security in the AWS public cloud environment.

Container Mastery: Harness the power of Docker for efficient containerization and Kubernetes for seamless orchestration, ensuring streamlined deployment and management of applications.

CI/CD Pipeline Leadership: Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure software delivery, integrating Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration seamlessly.

Scripting Wizardry: Leverage the prowess of Python and shell/bash scripting for the automation of tasks, deployment processes, and system configurations

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across security teams to design and develop scalable, automated solutions, enhancing the efficiency of security programs.

Innovation and Research: Stay ahead of the curve on the latest in security, devops, and emerging threats. Propose innovative strategies to bolster the organization's security posture.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
    Certifications on AWS, Kubernetes : Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) etc. will be good to have.
  2. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Terraform, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, SQL, and CI/CD.
  3. Proficiency in developing infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS environments.
  4. Proven experience with APM systems, log management, and error tracking platforms like prometheus, grafana, elk etc.
  5. Grasp of security principles, industry best practices, and emerging technologies (good to have)
  6. Ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  7. Embrace a continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying abreast of the latest security trends and technologies.
