Snowflake’s Chief Communications Officer is seeking a Senior Director of Social Media to guide the company’s social media strategy and execution, and amplify narratives that reinforce Snowflake’s mission and market positioning. 

This individual will work across business functions to create a powerful, aligned social media presence for the company globally. They will work with the executive team, various project sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective campaigns as part of a comprehensive social media strategy that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster meaningful connections with Snowflake’s priority audiences.

AS A SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Build and lead the Snowflake global Social Media team, including Corporate and Developer Relations social media programs
  • Work cross-functionally with Executive, Product Management, Public Relations, Human Resources, and other teams to develop and execute Snowflake’s social media effort company-wide
  • Collaborate across the broader Marketing team to support product marketing priorities and drive product awareness and brand engagement across external channels and internal advocacy 
  • Highlight Snowflake’s innovation and ecosystem in campaigns that expand reach and deliver measurable value for key stakeholders 
  • Analyze and interpret data to derive actionable insights that optimize social media performance
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the social media team, fostering professional growth and development

OUR IDEAL SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA WILL HAVE:

  • 12+ years of relevant social media and communications experience, ideally within the SaaS space
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation
  • Advanced writing skills and a keen understanding of developing effective messaging
  • Ability to conceptualize technology in a way that applies to different audiences
  • Leadership experience and a self-starter, team-player approach to working in fast-paced environments
  • Innovative and creative thinker who can both develop a strong vision and operationalize it
