This role will lead our efforts to make cost management in Snowflake as simple, and comprehensive as our customers expect.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER YOU WILL:

  • Define and evolve the product vision and direction for cost management across Snowflake
  • Be laser focussed on simplicity and ease of use
  • Collaborate cross functionally across product, engineering, and design stakeholders across a large scope of our product surface area
  • Work hand in hand with customers, engaging in frequent conversations both onsite and in customer offices to understand their needs, gather feedback, and overall ensure that product direction is in tune with customer needs
  • Be a technical, strong and eloquent advocate for Snowflake’s commitment to helping customers manage spend, both internally and externally, with regular presentations and talks at conferences
  • Ship features and improvements frequently and iteratively. You will own getting your product out the door, and you will own making sure it's constantly getting better

OUR IDEAL SENIOR/PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER/SR MANAGER WILL:

  • Have 8+ years experience in Product Management, preferably in a cloud, B2B or SaaS environment
  • Have proven experience defining a product vision and roadmap and managing incremental execution through successful launches
  • The ability to work effectively with both technical and business leaders
  • Be highly data-driven, knowing how to get, understand, and use data to make the best possible decisions
  • Have the ability to seek and identify opportunities to leverage technical and technology strengths, or define optimal product outcomes within technical constraints
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record with deep customer engagements, hands-on execution and timely delivery

BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

  • Passionate about user experience, and the value of simplicity
  • Familiarity with SQL and general database concepts (stored procedures, sharding, indexes, keys)
  • Familiarity with Data Science and/or Data Engineering personas (you know what a panda is)
  • Be just as comfortable in a deep technical conversation as you are in a discussion about strategy, pricing, marketing or go-to-market
