As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a wide range of documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and online help. This involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the documentation effectively addresses user needs. You will also play a key role in quality assurance, reviewing your own work and the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to style guidelines.

Competencies and Skills

  • This role typically requires 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience, though we place higher value on impact and problem-solving than just time in the seat.
  • Strong expertise in core documentation practices—including structured content authoring, information architecture, UX writing, accessibility, and content design—for both SaaS platforms and developer-centric products.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with the following tools: Paligo, Google Suite, Miro, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), GitHub, AI Chat Tools
  • Uses AI as a co-pilot for documentation—ideating, editing, and optimizing content faster while keeping the human touch where it matters most.
  • Product/Business Knowledge: Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and technical writing principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attitude: Meticulous attention to detail and strong editing skills. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve documentation challenges.
  • Fluency in the English language - spoken and written
