Position Title: Consumer Sales Trainer

Position Summary:
In this role, you will train and develop Consumer Sales team members. The Consumer Sales Trainer is responsible for training new Consumer Sales team members, conducting 30/60/90-day training assessments, and monitoring for training opportunities and compliance adherence for all sales team members.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt/hourly position.
Travel:
Some travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver’s License and Clean DMV are required. Reliable vehicle and auto insurance are also required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for coordinating and conducting training for the Consumer Sales Department.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Aptitudes:
- Coordinate and conduct training for Consumer Sales team members
- Complete 30/60/90-day training assessments for all new team members
- Update and maintain training materials to address needs of the sales team
- Work closely with Safety and Human Resources to ensure all sales team members complete necessary compliance training in a timely manner
- Audit calls, training issues, and performance stats for training opportunities
- Maintain positive working relationships and open communication within all workgroups
- Willing and able to drive a Sonic vehicle as needed
- Conduct field visits as needed for training and research
- Patient, well organized, and can adapt well to fast-changing environment
- Provide Sales Managers with training opportunities for both individuals and the teams
- Proficiency in Sonic tools and systems
- Full development of training materials and curriculum
Compensation Details:
$72-$78k annually PLUS commission
Work Environment:
The Consumer Sales Trainer spends time in the corporate office, a company vehicle, and canvassing outdoors in various communities.
The noise level and climate in our corporate office and in company vehicles are typically moderate.
The field teams are exposed to varying climates and elements when canvassing, which are determined by Mother Nature.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; key/type. The employee is consistently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
