Technical Program Manager 

This role is a strategic technical leader responsible for managing complex cross-functional programs that advance Sonic’s software platforms, network systems, and data analytics capabilities. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Lead software development initiatives for customer-facing platforms, billing systems, and service management tools 
  • Manage network engineering projects including network automation, monitoring system deployments, and configuration management 
  • Oversee systems engineering programs for infrastructure modernization, cloud migrations, and platform integrations 
  • Coordinate IT initiatives such as enterprise software implementations, security upgrades, and operational tooling 
  • Align business intelligence and analytics programs including data warehouse projects, reporting platform development, and customer insights initiatives 
  • Manage API development and integration projects connecting internal systems and third-party services 
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and process automation programs 
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts platform changes and enterprise projects 

Technical Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field 
  • 5-7 years of program management experience in software development or systems engineering 
  • Understanding of ISP software ecosystems including OSS/BSS platforms, network management systems, and customer portals 
  • Experience with modern software development practices, DevOps, and agile methodologies 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and microservices architecture 
  • Familiarity with network management protocols (SNMP, NetFlow), APIs, and database systems 
  • Experience with BI tools and data analytics platforms 

Skills and Competencies 

  • Proven ability to manage technical programs across multiple development teams 
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management 
  • Experience coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders 
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Confluence 
  • Data-driven approach to program tracking and risk management 
  • Excellent technical communication skills for both engineering teams and executive leadership

 Compensation Range: $120k-$140k annually plus full benefits
