SpotHero is a parking reservation service that helps drivers find and reserve parking at thousands of lots and garages in many major North American cities. Drivers in the U.S. and Canada use the SpotHero mobile app or website to reserve convenient and affordable parking on-the-go or in advance. Learning & Development Apprentice @ SpotHero: 

Our Learning and Development Apprentice role is a 90-day apprenticeship for someone who has current or past HR or recruiting experience, and is looking to gain experience in Learning & Development (L&D), knowledge management, and talent market research.

 

 

What you'll do:

  • Learning & Development
    • Architect and implement the overall experience journey for SpotHero’s 2024 intern and apprentice program with a goal of experiential learning and networked learning for participants.
    • Support mentorship program participants by co-leading mentorship discussions and providing mentorship resources as needed.
    • Partner with employees and SpotHero total rewards providers in delivering educational sessions and accessible resources that promote individual and organizational wellness.
  • Knowledge Management
    • Enhance knowledge sharing and information accessibility by gaining hands-on experience from the following projects:
      • Research project on the most important data assets for the organization and data accessibility.
      • Process documentation and service level agreement best practices.
  • Talent Market Research
    • Research for best practices for candidate valid technical assessments that also deliver a fair candidate experience.
    • Engineering interview process revamp partnership with the recruiting team. 
    • Empower recruiters by making recommendations based on talent campaign analysis, market trend research, and competitive analysis. Support the recruiting team via prospect sourcing as needed.
  • People Team Support
    • Support other People Team projects as needed.

 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience working within an HR or recruiting capacity. 
  • Strong skills in organizing and prioritizing multiple projects with a focus on effective execution and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including inclusive written, verbal, and visual communications. 
  • Experience (through work or personal projects) with gathering, reporting and analyzing data, and using data to solve problems, scale operations, and/or improve processes. 
  • Knowledge in effective organizational knowledge sharing and information accessibility.
