This position is remote in India

  • This position will be remote in the country of India and will work Monday-Friday during India hours.

    • How you will achieve success:

  • Design and implement high-scale backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) or C#, balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
  • Develop and optimize robust data pipelines and scraping systems using DBT, AWS Glue, and tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Beautiful Soup.
  • Ensure performance, observability, and reliability across distributed systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Lead architectural reviews, mentor peers, and uphold engineering best practices in testing, deployment, and scalability.
  • Apply AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) to automate boilerplate, test generation, and improve engineering velocity.

    • What experiences will help you in this role:

  • 5–7 years of backend development experience, with advanced skills in Python or C# and RESTful API design.
  • Deep experience building distributed systems and scalable backend platforms, including database optimization and cloud-native data processing.
  • Proficiency with Kafka or RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL (including index tuning), and Snowflake or similar warehouse technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, especially in remote and cross-functional contexts.
    • This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
    Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
    - 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
    - at least 4GB RAM;
    - Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system 
    - You are required to provide your own dual monitors
    A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
    PC Headset
    A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
