Teads is seeking an Events Marketing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing our US events and sponsorships as well as managing corporate industry memberships. The role will support planning, promotion and execution of live in-person and virtual activations, across sponsored, partner & owned events.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience within the event planning sector, be organized, creative, flexible, self-motivated, efficient, deadline driven, process and detail oriented and have strong interpersonal and managerial skills.

The Events Manager will work closely alongside US marketing, commercial sales & product teams as well as our global marketing teams to successfully plan, promote and measure event marketing impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Event Planning, Processes & Budgeting
    • Working with VP to develop and execute annual event calendar and strategy for the US and Canada
    • Managing partnerships & negotiations with industry trades to evaluate proposals and maintain top tier relationships
    • End-to-end event planning of all logistics including venues, vendors, premiums, attendee lists, content, sourcing speakers, submitting creative briefs, and coordinating weekly status calls, and all event logistics
    • Working alongside marketing and sales teams to ideate, plan, and execute events ranging from small client entertaining events to large-scale conferences and tradeshows
    • Developing and managing event budgets to ensure on-budget event execution
    • Consistently staying on top of industry research to follow best practices and present new and creative event ideas
  • Event facilitation & communication
    • Email communication + promotion planning pre-, during, and post-event to manage invite and RSVP lists and ensure on-time event execution from cross-department contributors
    • Maintain project management calendars/schedules for each event
    • On-site support to ensure flawless execution of events
    • Coordination of other event follow-ups such as distribution of attendee lists, uploading lists to Hubspot and proper tagging and tracking within the database
    • Develop robust KPI framework to track success of event programs and lead generation
  • Cross-team management
    • Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure brand alignment and successful outcomes (creative design, social promotions, property marketing, content programming, production management, legal etc.
    • Align with Teads US stakeholders - such as regional sales leads – to create localized event toolkits and evaluate potential partnerships
    • Work closely with senior leadership to develop a process for internal employee engagement and participation
    • Provide a post-event debrief for each event for key stakeholders that includes an analysis of attendees, key wins and areas of improvement for the next event

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years working in event marketing, preferably in the ad tech/digital advertising field
  • You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships with various global marketing, sales and product teams within the organization, as well as with external partners
  • You are self-starter and take pride in finding solutions to deliver strong results in a fast-paced, digital environment
  • You possess an ability to multitask, organize and prioritize projects with excellent time management and a detail-oriented approach
  • You demonstrate enthusiasm, integrity and passion for your work and bring both proven & creative marketing ideas to the team
  • You are a strategic & solution-oriented thinker with great analytical skills to measure and strengthen the success of our marketing initiatives
