What can you expect in this role: 

Teads is looking for an exceptional Sales Executive with an entrepreneur mindset based in Tokyo, Japan to play a key part in our continued success and presents a great opportunity to learn sales and digital advertising at an innovative, industry-leading ad tech company. 

You are a natural hunter who uncover new business and service existing. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your primary focus is to maximise revenue through selling of Teads advertising solutions, whilst ensuring the delivery of superior client service and results. 

You should also be familiar with digital advertising and the programmatic landscape and well-versed in the media agency landscape with established key relationships. 

  • Prospect and close business with a targeted list of media agencies and direct advertisers 
  • Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients
  • Collaborate and work closely with other departments (sales, ad ops, publisher and design teams) to ensure client campaign expectations are communicated internally
  • Be a Teads spokesperson and become an active brand advocate
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to generate renewals and increase incremental revenue
  • Manage and maintain a healthy individual sales pipeline and achieve sales target

About You

  • A fantastic track record of prospecting and delivering success
  • Minimum 1 years sales experience in online media
  • Passionate about digital advertising and programmatic
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape
  • University degree
  • Strong networking ability and proven connections at major advertising agencies
  • Fluent in Japanese with business-level English is a must
