What we do:

The Strategy Team is focused on creating deeper, more innovative and more productive long-term relationships with our largest global advertisers and their agency partners. We sit within the client service organisation and include some of the most seasoned and expert members of the team. Strategy team members support brands, often at a global level, enabling the deepest understanding of the client’s business needs. We take a consultative approach to designing mid- and long-term engagement plans that support our client’s most ambitious growth goals with bespoke integrations across media, data, technology and business processes and work with our global counterparts focused on campaign management, solutions architecture and technical account management, product, insights and sales to execute and demonstrate business impact to c-level stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of business across key strategic clients, overseeing relationships as a strategic advisor, guiding problem-solving discussions and providing best-in-class client services

  • Balance long-term (12 months+) planning with short-term objectives in order to meet and/or exceed revenue goals

  • Work cross-functionally within the Trade Desk to accelerate category-specific Research & Insights, Custom Solutions and client-facing narratives
  • Study your client’s business opportunities, challenges and growth strategies to advise on strategic integrations across data, technology and business processes

  • Use creative and strategic problem-solving skills to find solutions that are mutually beneficial to TTD and our clients

  • Constantly review and optimise workflow & processes for health of client’s business, which involves project management of cross-functional teams

  • Quickly develop business acumen across multiple verticals & advertisers with ability to become trusted subject matter expert

  • Build, maintain, and execute engagement plans, both internally & externally

  • Inform our product roadmap and the global client services vision & strategy

  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and execute an onboarding plan that will make customers successful with our programmatic buying platform

  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

  • Create and evangelise thought-leadership

  • Help to create and/or optimise ways of working and client-facing playbooks

Who you are: 

  • Extensive experience in media or a related industry, ideally with programmatic experience; consulting experience a plus, within client strategy/relationship management

  • Experience and expertise in Tech, Telco and Entertainment categories
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth with large customer accounts

  • Solid background and fluent understanding of the Programmatic market and industry
  • Experience in developing, nurturing and managing client strategy, plus executive-level and C-Suite relationships

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups. Execute in an intense and fast-paced environment
  • Able to grasp and communicate with gravitas on media, marketing and technical subject matter; working with and being able to influence CMOs and CEOs through superior business insights

  • Ability to build strong, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive teams, and industry groups through superb communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven track-record in designing and executing 12+ month client engagement and growth plans

  • Successful in creating and evangelising new thought leadership, ways of working or customer-facing solutions

  • Understanding of marketing strategies and how media, programmatic, data, measurement and technology fit into the full picture

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

  • Execute in a timely fashion in fast-paced environment through effective time management and prioritisation skills

  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
