Who We Are:

The Global Advertiser team is focused on creating deeper, more innovative, and more productive long-term relationships with our largest global advertisers and their agency partners. We sit within the Client Service organization and include some of the most seasoned and expert members of the team. Advertiser team members support 2-3 brands, often at a global level, enabling the deepest understanding of the client’s business needs. We take a consultative approach to designing mid- and long-term engagement plans that support our client’s most ambitious growth goals with bespoke integrations across media, data, technology and business processes and work with our global counterparts focused on campaign management, solutions architecture and technical account management, product, insights, and sales to execute and demonstrate business impact to C-level stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Lead a team of high performing individual contributors who create engagement plans for global advertisers that add long-term business value using The Trade Desk platform and capabilities. This leader will manage the effectiveness of the team’s overall efforts across a portfolio of large global brands. Collaborate with the sales lead for Global Advertiser as well as the other senior leaders in the Client Service organization.

  • Recruit, develop and grow a strong team of individual contributors who manage our most strategic global brand relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally with in the Trade Desk to accelerate category-specific Research & Insights, and client-facing narratives
  • Directly produce and scale the team’s contribution to thought-leadership
  • Help to create and/or optimize ways of working and client-facing playbooks.

Deliverables of the CS Global Advertiser team:

  • Balance long-term (12 months+) planning with short-term objectives in order to meet and/or exceed revenue goals
  • Study client business opportunities, challenges and growth strategies to advise on strategic integrations across data, technology and business processes
  • Influence & execute corporate level strategy by driving growth with key clients
  • Lead cross-division client communication, projects, and deliverables
  • Use creative and strategic problem-solving skills to find solutions that are mutually beneficial to TTD and our clients
  • Possess innate understanding of the varied business models employed by clients and ability to capture essence of a problem and drive to solution
  • Constantly review and optimize workflow & processes for health of client’s business, which involves project management of cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to global account ownership for performance against revenue targets.
  • Quickly develop business acumen across multiple verticals & advertisers with ability to become trusted subject matter expert
  • Build, maintain, and execute engagement plans, both internally & externally, with Clients and partners
  • Inform our product roadmap and the global client services vision & strategy
  • Work closely with the Client Services team(s) to develop and execute an onboarding plan that will make customers successful with our programmatic buying platform
  • Govern global strategy, planning, and relationships for long-term growth of key global partners
  • Effectively collaborate and coordinate with Business Development (sales) counterparts and Client Service stakeholders in other regions.

Who you are: 

  • A proven track record of strong people management experience; 15+ years of relevant experience including working with global advertisers
  • Excels at building networks internally and externally.
  • Can demonstrate significant influence, persuade and collaborate up to C-level at clients as well as influencing and inspiring our internal teams. Working with and being able to influence CMOs and CEOs through superior business insights.
  • Able to demonstrate gravitas and communicate at any level.
  • Unafraid of acting decisively and making quality decisions based on excellent judicial skills.
  • Strategic mindset and able to use the understanding of our Company vision to set global account objectives.
  • Innate understanding of the varied business models employed by clients and ability to capture essence of a problem and drive to solution.
  • Solid background and fluent understanding of the Programmatic market and industry.
  • A natural leader and motivator of people with a collaborative team approach.
  • Proven record of applying high EQ to manage people’s emotions.
  • Extensive experience in professional client strategy/relationship management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups.
  • Execute in an intense and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record working within a sales organization.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$162,600$298,100 USD
