What you’ll do:
- Lead and mentor a nimble team of traders, acting as a player-coach to drive both team and client success.
- Manage trading team bandwidth and resource allocation effectively to ensure the delivery of high-quality trading support to clients.
- Develop and execute trading strategies to keep clients competitive in areas such as first-party data activation, CTV/OTT adoption, and omnichannel measurement.
- Lead data-driven conversations utilizing The Trade Desk’s platform features and reporting to deliver actionable insights and demonstrate the full impact of advertising on business outcomes.
- Consult with clients on campaign goals and implementation plans to maximize the results delivered by The Trade Desk’s platform. Analyze data and incorporate client perspectives to create optimization strategies and innovative solutions that fulfill client requirements.
- Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to translate analytics into insightful presentations that resonate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with client planning and trading leads.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and best practices with the wider trading team and driving new initiatives.
- Partner with account management and business development teams to educate clients, grow your business portfolio, and keep clients updated on The Trade Desk’s evolving suite of products and solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product managers to resolve complex technical issues and enhance products based on client feedback.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of online advertising experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Solid technical background, ideally with experience at DSP, SSP, online publisher, AdTech, MarTech or programmatic advertising role.
- Experienced in onboarding and managing small teams, with the ability to clearly communicate roles, set expectations, and provide consistent feedback.
- Ability to execute and coach others to deliver results in a fast-paced environment through effective time management and prioritization.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, chart creation, and data set manipulation.
- Proven track record of driving value by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding client objectives, and recommending best strategies using data.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
