What you’ll do:

The Marketing Manager for Canada will support the Senior Marketing Manager in the strategy, planning and execution of Canada marketing initiatives to drive increased awareness, consideration and usage of the Trade Desk platform. This role includes leading the coordination of complete holistic marketing programs in collaboration with events, product marketing, creative, editorial, and digital marketing as well as with the wider business and sales teams in the region.

  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to support the execution of 360 degree program launches in the Canada market.
  • Manage and execute agreed-upon industry sponsorships from contract review through to success reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing alignment with Product Marketing and Sales Strategy to ensure integration of regional marketing messaging into sales collateral for the business team.
  • Collaborate with Business team and events team to organize sales events such as client education days and roadshows
  • Produce presentations and reports to present plans and progress towards goals to cross-functional partners and leadership; identify KPIs and continuously track and evaluate relevant metrics to allow ongoing optimization of marketing efforts.
  • Develop deep expertise and trust as a subject matter expert in region specifically among Canadian clients and teams including Business Development and Client Services.
  • Maintain relationships with Canada regional industry associations and conference organizations in order to serve as the key point of contact and internal liaison to ensure all elements of TTD sponsorships and association memberships are activated in the most strategic and effective manner.
  • Oversee deliverable timelines and work cross functionally to ensure submission of all required assets to organizers by specified deadlines.
  • Support the wider brand team on broader regional marketing programs on an ad hoc basis, as they arise.
  • Bring your ideas on process improvement, strategic marketing and creative initiatives to a smart, innovative and receptive team.
  • Foster a team culture of constant learning and improvement, bringing and supporting new ideas.

Who you are:

  • 6-10 years of relevant marketing experience. Understanding of the programmatic advertising industry is a strong bonus.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience creating and delivering marketing programs in line with larger marketing plans.
  • Intellectually curious and comfortable diving into technical, complex, and nuanced topics.
  • High EQ with the ability to build cross-functional relationships across large teams and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, and committed to exceptional output.
  • Based in Toronto area, with ability and willingness to travel to the US occasionally.
