- Key client-facing voice of TTD, authority in TTD platform and trading
- Acts as a consultant; understands clients’ performance goals and objectives and helps clients take full advantage of TTD’s product suite in order to hit/exceed those goals
- Is able to anticipate and prioritize client needs very effectively
- Helps to develop standard trading methodologies and actively seeks to share knowledge with the wider team
- Is a major influencer in new product development cycle and in beta testing new products as well as in giving feedback on beta test results
- Able to lead, not just handle tasks
- Helping to develop the skills and knowledge base of newer and more junior trading team members as a mentor
- Participates in advocating for, testing, reviewing, and providing detailed feedback on products that help add new value for The Trade Desk’s clients. Can clearly identify, communicate, and offer solutions for problems, spend blockers, and future threats or opportunities
- Speaks with conviction and confidence to agency leadership and client planning teams, and regularly participates in upselling (i.e. channel capabilities, programmatic evangelism, savings analyses, threats and opportunities, etc.)
- 5-8 years of work experience; management or mentoring experience a plus
- 3-5 years minimum client-facing experience; digital media preferred
- Deep understanding of how to scale and communicate your knowledge and expertise across an internal client services team
- Strong ability to be a consultant to a robust client base through effectively communicating strategy improvement, product and idea generation, and business outcomes through a marketing lens
- Shown ability to prioritize and align business and client needs in a productive and efficient manner
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
- Strong quantitative skills coupled with the ability to draw insights from very large datasets
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
