What you'll do:

  • Lead some of our most strategic global relationships and opportunities within DACH with German multinational advertisers. Work collectively with greater global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to cultivate focused accounts and brands 
  • Own relationships with commercial and contract leads at major German multinational advertisers 
  • Uncover core client business needs and challenges and communicate the value of partnering with The Trade Desk to solve them 
  • Communicate the value of our media buying platform by demonstrating key value positioning and unique industry perspectives
  • Develop, pitch, negotiate, and win large-scale JBPs
  • Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
  • Take lead in responding to RFPs, including qualification & win strategy
  • Coordinate global account discussions and strategy with local account teams in EMEA, APAC and US regions
  • Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimise efforts relating to company-wide goals
  • Build deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and specialty functions. Attract, develop, and retain talent to build and mentor a diverse team with the capabilities needed to achieve current and future global growth objectives. 

Who you are: 

We are looking for a commercially savvy, very senior sales individual to identify, grow, and nurture key advertising partnerships. You will need a proven record of accomplishment in delivering results, building relationships, and collaborating with other teams as you will be working with some of our most strategic clients. 

  • A proven record of accomplishment in online advertising outbound sales 
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role 
  • Existing relationships with decision makers at major agencies and advertisers 
  • Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships 
  • Experience working across geographies in an overlay capacity with cross-functional 
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation’s ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts 
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients 
  • Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins 
  • Proven record of accomplishment of exceeding revenue expectations.
