What you’ll do

Day to Day Operational Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, data partnerships, data science, engineering, and client services teams to participate actively in all aspects of designing, researching, building, and delivering data-focused products for TTD Data depending on scope and skillset
  • Consult with and understand stakeholders' targeting strategy and performance goals to identify problems and generate solutions based on outlined requirements
  • Contribute to solution design in line with our overall technical roadmap and industry best practice
  • Contribute to the company and teams’ knowledge base through ensuring documentation accuracy of team systems, processes, and general knowledge
  • Directs the team’s daily operations, has ownership of weekly team all-hands, as well as assigning cases to team members based on urgency or need
  • Experiment with wide range of existing technologies while applying new and emerging options that can enhance organisation outcomes
  • Identify, assist, and maintain stakeholder visibility in custom solution development opportunities by understanding system capabilities and actively supporting core stakeholder needs
  • Maintain the company’s ticketing system; answer, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate when appropriate various technical issues related to data
  • Participate in other projects as dictated by the needs of the organisation
  • Promote and adhere to organisational service standards by ensuring they are built into all process and procedures, whether dealing with internal customers or external members
  • Provide “white-glove” professionalism to stakeholders through entire process of product/process development by acting as their key point of contact and meet their expectations within established SLAs
  • Provide light on-call/after-hours support when needed
  • Represent our company and exercise good judgement, by balancing the needs of our diverse global stakeholders to “do the right thing”
  • Support the business with time-critical datafication and improve business operations by using cutting edge operational research and modelling methods

Team/Individual Performance Responsibilities:

  • Act as mentor & leader in the team alongside and/or in the absence of other management team members; providing oversight, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members
  • Assist in onboarding and developing newer analysts, and in particular works as an authority on Data Support-related topics
  • Coordinate in-depth training on team-related tools and processes
  • Identify opportunities for team growth, process improvement, new projects, documentation improvement, etc., and execute as directed
  • Manage and create reports related to team performance and data entry tracking
  • Regularly assess team members' workload and focus on their continued development and performance with adherence to MBO’s
  • Recruit, develop and grow a solid team of individual contributors who manage our most strategic brand relationships

Managerial Contact Responsibilities:

  • Act as a conduit/catalyst between the Data Support Team and other TTD Teams; including providing extensive insights into the work of the core functions of Data Support
  • Assist with screening and hiring long-term support team members for the Support Organisation
  • Assists management with monthly regional reporting
  • Implements organisational updates/changes as communicated by managers
  • Manage a sub-team (team of 3-4 people)
  • Notes both team and individual successes/challenges and escalates performance issues to manager
  • Primary point of contact when Director and Managers are unavailable

Who you are

  • Master's Degree or relevant work experience
  • Solid background and fluent understanding of the Programmatic market and industry
  • Experience handling complex datasets, identifying trends within the data, and performing comparisons between multiple data sources
  • Experience in Excel and MS Office, including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets
  • Mid-level to advanced experience with databases, SQL, Python, Scala, and API's - Able to create queries to retrieve records, aggregate data from a variety of data sources, and an understanding of the underlying data structures
  • A natural leader and motivator of people with a collaborative team approach
  • Ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team, and industry groups
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and build sound working relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Passion for data handling ethics, and care for ensuring consumer privacy standards are met
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while anticipating stakeholder needs and providing assistance to meet or exceed expectations
  • Ability to teach others, maintain confidence while speaking in groups, and humbleness when learning from others
  • Able to demonstrate perseverance and resilience to overcome obstacles when presented with a complex problem.
  • Adept at identifying and evaluating trade-offs, willing to be challenged, and quick to walk through fire to support your fellow teammates
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty of change when assessing needs for stakeholders
  • Demonstrate significant influence, persuade, and collaborate with stakeholders as well as influencing and inspiring our internal teams
  • Established record of applying high EQ to manage people’s emotions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the confidence to participate in very technical conversations, the ability to deliver consensus and commitment, and the ability to crisply communicate delivery timelines, trade-offs, and risks to senior management
  • Have effective time management skills which enable you to work successfully across functions in a dynamic and solution-oriented environment while meeting deadlines
  • Provide high-level technical knowledge to design, implement, configure, and support the functions of key data applications, associated interfaces and APIs
  • Responsible for regular check ins and owning incidents, including collaborating, or escalating when applicable to other internal teams
  • Self-motivated and innovative; confident when working independently, but an excellent team player with a growth-oriented personality
  • Strategic mindset and able to use the understanding of our Company vision to set global objectives
  • Superior organisational and follow-up skills
  • Utilise a Global Perspective and understanding of different cultures and dynamics
