ABOUT THE TEAM
Trendyol's Core Commerce Division strategically unites and transforms commerce into a journey of innovation, efficiency, and growth. At the heart of Trendyol's operations, our Core Commerce Team drives our commercial strategy, charting a course towards sustainable development and profitable growth.

Within this framework, our umbrella encompasses Category, Category Planning, Project Development, Marketplace, Services, International Fashion, and Global Platform teams, each a vital cog in our commercial strategy. 

We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quickly establishing Services analytics team with internal and external hiring process
  • Developing a deep understanding of services businesses and their analytical needs and defining and executing FS analytics roadmap in line with that (e.g., prioritization of use cases)  
  • Managing services businesses analytics backlog by running an effective prioritization process with services businesses and other TY analytics stakeholders
  • Finding innovative solutions to collect services data points from external stakeholders (e.g. partner banks, external government institutions) by developing an understanding of FS data regulations with the help of legal and compliance teams 
  • Building and maintaining new data models (e.g., wealth segments, services micro segments) 
  • QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • The experience range for this position is manager & senior manager level
  • University degree preferably in Engineering, MIS, Management, Statistics
  • Minimum 8-10 years of analytical experience. Financial Services related field experience is a big plus
  • Leadership experience showing a solid track record in team building, people management and people development is a must
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to break down complex information into relevant and digestible points
  • Excited to work with different functions within the company, creative problem solver who thrives with ambiguity
  • Strong knowledge of SQL or other query language experience combined to good mathematical and statistics foundations. Python is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce is a plus
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English working proficiency is a must
  • Strong business acumen: Translate data into valuable business insights for diverse set of services businesses (payments, insurance, retail and seller financial services and co-branded card) 
  • Embrace a forward-thinking approach for the future data-related needs of the domain and propose new data initiatives/tools
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a simplified and actionable format.

    We offer the opportunity for a two-month full remote work program, allowing you to work from abroad, during the summer period (July to August).
