Twilio is seeking a dynamic and motivated Digital Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive and execute digital marketing strategy for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This experienced marketing professional will be responsible for developing and executing strategic digital marketing programs that drive brand awareness, grow our top of funnel prospects and stimulate pipeline opportunities. 

The right candidate for this role is a proven marketing technologist and strategist who possesses a start-up mentality that can quickly uncover new opportunities to optimize and build, takes ownership of key tools, aligns and organizes with cross-functional teams toward one mission. This position is a 12 months contract position.

Who?
We are looking for a self-starter who lives the Twilio Magic and has a consistent record of driving towards assigned targets or goals. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you are:

  • A seasoned digital marketing strategist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital media planning, tracking and conversion funnel optimization, and managing multi-faceted marketing projects across multiple channels (e.g. paid social, programmatic, ABM, etc.) in a fast-paced environment
  • An out-of-the-box thinker who has had success experimenting with creative ideas and new channels to drive awareness or funnel activities while testing and measuring.
  • A strategic thinker, unafraid of data and can comfortably glean customer insights from CRM and other automation tools as well as through customer insights research.
  • Digital marketing savvy with the first level of technical knowledge in digital media channels, including Google Ads (Display, Video and Search), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), regional platforms (e.g. Wechat, Baidu and TikTok) and supplementary platforms for PPC management and optimization
  • Analytical and  intellectually curious, you are experienced in measuring the effectiveness and impact of digital marketing programs that drive conversions, pipeline and revenue and proactively driving different ways to optimise performance
  • Enjoy working in a fast-moving rocketship, own and design programs, find creative solutions to complex problems and simplify systems for scale and agility. 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Tableau and Data Studio.
  • Fluency in one of the regional languages such as Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese is a plus.

What?

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Take the lead with Twilio digital ad campaigns to drive brand awareness, engage audiences and generate demand at scale through multiple digital channels. 
  • Develop strategy for performance marketing, providing projections on budget, trends, traffic and conversions as well as driving digital engagement at scale with increasing efficiency
  • Manage day-to-day digital media operations such as campaign set-up and optimisation.
  • Conceptualise and develop testing strategies. Monitor and optimise campaigns to maximise engagement, conversion rate and overall ROI
  • Be creative! Take on ad copy and social imagery with Twilio’s Creative & Brand team, juggle relationships with various outside vendors and creative agencies
  • Dive deep into data to understand market trends and competitor landscape. Communicate actionable insights to key stakeholders, translating them into strategic initiatives and/or making recommendations for optimisation.
  • Work with Marketing Strategy and Analytics to create elite reporting and real-time dashboards for evaluating digital media campaign performance and optimise budget allocation
