Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Full-Stack Javascript Engineer to design and build modern web applications that improve the productivity of our Services business.  We are looking for a software engineer with solid computer science fundamentals and with a demonstrated track record of building elegant APIs and UI experiences at scale.  In this role, you will work closely with our program, analytics and engineering teams to build world-class experiences for our customers and Services teams, including Customer Support, Professional Services and Customer Success at Twilio.

 

You will play a key role in growing our new engineering team in India, helping us to hire the best technical talent, and creating a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.  Experience in building full-stack web applications and using modern Javascript frameworks is essential.

 

Our technical stack includes: Full-stack Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3), Terraform, Redis, Docker, and Linux.

  • Continuously improve our standard methodologies for how we operate
  • Execute across the technical stack from full-stack application development to low-level optimizations and debugging, from system design to writing end-to-end tests, from slinging code to operations and assuring the quality of your work.
  • Experience developing software on AWS or Google Cloud Services.
  • Knowledgeable and opinionated about the design of REST APIs
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and familiarity with Javascript full-stack development.  Familiarity with NodeJS is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in building Web user experiences, preferably using frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
