Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Software Engineer to be part of a team of talented engineers who build and operate relational datastore services for our mail pipeline. We do this leveraging technologies like MySQL, Chef, haproxy, etc. We are looking to grow the team to help support our existing offering while expanding to support relational datastores in Kubernetes and hope you’re the right individual to join us.

Who?

Twilio is looking for an engineer who lives the Twilio Magic.  They also have:

  • 2+ years of experience in your craft with demonstrated skill progression
  • Previous exposure to DevOps methodologies
  • Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL data stores
  • Understanding of Agile processes (previous experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with Chef or similar automation tools
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms (previous experience a plus)
  • Coding experience (Golang a plus)
  • Listen, present, and question effectively
  • A tenacious learner, curious and constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible
  • A highly effective collaborator, you work with your team towards common goals
  • Self Driven; take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get your tasks to completion
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar experience

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $90,752.00 - $124,784.00

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $79,408.00 - $109,186.00

Sales Commission: Additionally, this role is eligible to earn commissions and eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

Non Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
