Position Summary:
Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP) is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Marketing Business Partner to contribute to the growth and market presence of our network of veterinary hospitals. Reporting to the Director of Field Marketing and collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer and Operations Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies for existing VPP hospital locations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with a solid foundation in developing and implementing marketing initiatives. While experience within the veterinary industry is a plus, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong marketing acumen, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly within the veterinary healthcare environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the strategic development and implementation of marketing strategies tailored to individual veterinary practices, ensuring alignment with overall VPP marketing objectives and in collaboration with the Field Marketing Director, Chief Marketing Officer, and the broader Marketing Team.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans to support the growth of existing veterinary hospitals. This includes contributing to the creation of communication materials, supporting in-clinic collateral development, and assisting with core marketing programs such as the Vetstoria Online Booking Tool, PetDesk client engagement platform, website content, digital advertising campaigns, social media initiatives, online reputation management, and exterior signage.
- Participate in the review and enhancement of existing patient referral programs in partnership with the Director of Field Marketing and Marketing Business Partner colleagues to improve their effectiveness.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Operations Team members, hospital partners, and existing doctor partners within the VPP network, facilitating clear communication and alignment on marketing activities.
- Attend and participate in regular marketing business review meetings with regional directors and contribute to training sessions with hospital teams to share marketing best practices and resources aimed at increasing patient visits.
- Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Marketing Programs to support the utilization and efficacy of core programs, including patient communication via PetDesk and the Vetstoria online booking platform.
- Participate in training sessions with practice managers and operations leaders to support the successful adoption and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Work with the VPP Creative team to contribute to the design of professional digital collateral and assist with its efficient upload and management within relevant digital platforms.
- Travel up to 25% of the time for yearly Homecoming events, regional meetings, and site-specific hospital engagements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a marketing role, demonstrating a foundational understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Experience within the veterinary industry is desirable but not required
