We're looking for a two staff writers to join the SB Nation Team within Vox Media to cover golf . As a member of the SB Nation Team you’ll be responsible for analyzing breaking news, providing daily content around happenings in golf, and bringing a unique voice to our coverage. The ideal candidate is someone that has experience writing about sports and a strong knowledge of golf. The Staff Writer will report to our Golf Editor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide daily content coverage around happenings in golf while brining a unique voice to our coverage
- Analyze breaking news for golf to determine if this is an area that we should be covering
- Managing priorities and workload effectively to meet deadlines daily
- Ensure all content aligns with SB Nation’s editorial standards
- Partner closely with the Editor, Golf to align on story ideas
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate for Staff Writer, Golf has:
- At least two years of experience writing about sports
- Ability to do self-directed work without strict supervision
- Can produce clean analysis on breaking news at a fast pace
- Strong knowledge of golf (can be through writing experience or playing experience)
- Basic understanding of search-engine optimization
