3D Operations is responsible for the continuing development and execution of Wayfair’s industry leading 3D Imagery content creation, storage and delivery platform. This team is responsible for building and maintaining new tools and technology helping to enable Wayfair’s merchandising growth at scale. As our 3D production pipelines continue to evolve, we are looking for a highly motivated, operationally-minded, organized and detail-oriented individual to manage our 3D Asset library and drive strategic improvements.
In this role you will manage the strategy and maintenance of our 3D asset library. By analyzing trends in product data and 3D imagery production you will make recommendations and implement changes to the logic that drives our imagery production. You will monitor the overall health of our inventory of 3D template assets, and closely track our progress toward meeting department goals. This role is highly collaborative, frequently interacting with our Catalog Media & Engineering team, 3D Creative, and 3D Demand planning among others. Currently responsible for 1-2 direct reports, with the opportunity to grow as we expand our Library Health strategy.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Image Producers and 3D Imagery Operations to monitor imagery projects and ensure deliverables are on track and the overall project is efficiently utilizing resources
- Use data to monitor the health of existing 3D asset libraries and analyze trends in falloff
- Identify opportunities for improvement, and implement recommendations to improve coverage and efficiency
- Effectively influence adjacent teams to implement recommendations that will improve asset efficiency and overall pipeline reliability
- Partner with advanced analytics team and product managers to develop greater data visibility through dashboards
- Coach team to effectively prioritize opportunities for greatest impact to overall department goals
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years experience in Project Management, Operations, Analytics or Inventory Planning
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit with curiosity, initiative, dedication and high degree of comfort with change
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely, strong written and verbal communication
- Highly analytical, including experience with analyzing and interpreting large data sets directly (high Excel proficiency is a must, experience with SQL/ Python preferred)
- Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple competing priorities for self and team
- Strong attention to detail with proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
