Who we are

The B2B Sales Enablement team develops the go-to-market strategy and operating model for Wayfair’s B2B business, Wayfair Professional. We help drive both long-term thinking about what customer experience will maximize profitable growth and shorter-term measures improving operational efficiency.

Wayfair Professional helps hundreds of thousands of businesses to create the perfect space for their clients, guests and employees. Wayfair Professional has nearly tripled in size over the past 24 months, and we are seeking to expand and upgrade the strategic capabilities that support our growing sales team. We are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to support our Customer Interactions team in defining the customer engagement strategy and operations.

About this role

What you’ll do:

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams on projects supporting the build and execution of sales tasking strategy across sales programs.
  • Be an SME in cadencing tools:
    • SalesLoft - Build, maintain and analyze sales tasks to optimize the sales floor’s tasking workflow
    • GrayMatter - Build, maintain and analyze signal processing campaigns that trigger cadences to ensure customers are given the optimal sales treatment
    • Salesforce - Understand the customer data ingested by GrayMatter & Salesloft and work with the business POCs & engineering partners that manage it.
  • Source requirements from sales and develop comprehensive business cases for new customer engagement strategies & any technological improvements that enable them.
  • Partner with the Data Science team to develop experiment plans & estimate the impact of different outbound communication strategies
  • Own, monitor and make recommendations for sales tasking KPIs
  • Monitor for technical issues with tasking operations. Root-cause and document effective solutions, communicating complex and technical findings succinctly to stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 4 year degree, preferably in a quantitative field
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a quantitative role
  • Experience with SQL and Excel required
  • Experience with Python preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible mind set as you’ll be expected to communicate across the spectrum of stakeholders
  • Ability to get your hands dirty digging into the data to extract valuable insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills - willingness to ask questions and dig into root causes to identify blockers to success

The salary range (or base pay for hourly positions) for this position is $104,500-$115,00. However, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
