Job Description:

Wayfair’s Exclusive Brands Curation Ops team is looking for an Associate to join our team to support style and product experts.  Our portfolio of tightly curated, style-driven brands combine Wayfair’s highly practical & deeply analytical DNA with inspirational photography and merchandising best practices learned from our Flagship and Specialty Brand initiatives to further differentiate Wayfair from our competitors.

Daily responsibilities include supervising offshore agents’ throughput in curating existing products on site, completing projects relating to core, strategic initiatives, and building reporting to track key metrics. This role provides significant exposure to one of Wayfair’s key strategic initiatives for our Differentiated/Next Gen Merch strategy. Top performers will have opportunities to work with each of the EB workgroups and a variety of cross-functional partners. 

The most successful Associates are driven, flexible, able to think on their feet, and solve problems creatively. They have demonstrated skill with technical tools and processes through project management, data analysis, or other similar experience. Associates must be excellent interpersonal communicators, highly-organized workers, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify business problems and conduct rigorous analyses to uncover opportunities for strategic, operational improvements to key functional tools and workflows
  • Provide ground-level support to the Brand Design team, escalating to and interfacing with Engineering and Product teams when necessary
  • Manage throughput of SKU curation pipeline by reducing turnaround time and operational costs and owning the white label Hold Out list
  • Develop and distribute self-service performance dashboards, leveraging expertise in internal databases
  • Forge strong cross-functional relationships with key partners to drive forward collaborative projects in order to identify curation efficiencies 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient with Excel/Google sheets; SQL experience a plus
  • A proactive problem-solver and process-improver, able to manage and prioritize multiple on-going projects and pivot nimbly to accommodate changing strategies
  • A solution-oriented individual, able to manage time effectively by creating and keeping deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal communication with peers, manager, and business partners, able to deliver information clearly and concisely with supporting data 
  • A self-starter with an eye for detail, able to drive forward multiple priorities and navigate both macro and micro perspectives
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to take on new projects and learn new processes, skills, and technology
