Wayfair Delivery Network (WDN) is Wayfair’s proprietary large parcel delivery network. Delivery is a core operational function at Wayfair that allows us to delight customers and drive repeat business. 

The selected candidate will perform business and financial analyses, monitor and track business performance, and prepare reports for the leadership. You will support EU WDN’s strategic growth initiatives as well as key performance management processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the preparation of thee business cases:
    • Preparing financial models
    • Working with various stakeholders to best capture the business context
    • Creating a knowledge base around the business problem
    • Assisting with the preparation of business case documents
    • Maintaining the Management Information Systems such as cost reports, trackers, etc. 
  • Track the business performance metrics
    • Track key performance indicators against projections 
    • Conduct deep dives to understand major deviations
    • Track performance against the business cases developed
    • Benchmark key processes against industry standards
    • Prepare and improve reports to reflect evolving business realities
  • Provide close support to the leadership with regard to deep dives, insights, and analyses

What You'll Need:

  • Strong problem solving and structured communication skills
  • Proficiency in business analysis & financial modeling plus comfort with MS-Office or Google Docs e.g. spreadsheets, slides
  • An effective team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders cutting across the organizational hierarchy
  • Data driven and keen interest in generating practical business insights; previous experience with SQL is a plus
  • Should be able to work within a fast-paced tech / e-commerce environment
